              Assalamualaikum and hello to all of you. I am writing this blog to share with you guys about my assignment UED 102 Study Skill.

☆ Getting ready to learn

           When we are studying at a higher level, we need to make transition in ourselves to adapt the life in university. There are a few transition that we have to make:

The characteristic that must have to be a successful student are:

• Active learner - always participate in all programs at the campus
• Strategic learner - know your own learning style and has a daily schedule 
• Dicipline learner - always on time to attend classes or meetings
• Hardworking learner - finish all the assignments, take notes from lecture always do exercises 
• Independent learner - do something without the help of others unless you really need it

We need to know our learning style to improve our performance in learning. There are 3 types of learning styles:

1. Visual learners

• Learn best by seeing
• Graphic displays such as diagram, illustration, handout and picture are helpful learning tools for visual learner
• Can remember information one by one with closed eye after they see the picture

2. Auditory learners

• Learn best by hearing information
• Prefer listen to lecturer classes rather than reading text books
• Reading out loud help them to remember information better

3. Kinesthetic learners

• Learn best by touching and doing things
• Do experiment or task directly to understand learning
• Need to walk and talk the information to remember well

⇒ I am a visual learner. So, I will share with you guys three tips on how to learn better as a visual learner

• Use background music that have no lyrics. Choose a piece of music for a particular subject. This help you to memorize as much as information that you study in the subject. 

• Study with a partner or in a group. Discuss the informations and write down the notes by making flash cards or doing mind maps with different colours. So, you can remember the important point easier.

•  When you are learning a new math formula or vocabulary word, you have to write it in the air. Close your eyes and see it in your mind's eye. Then, say the words aloud. You can memorize easily by using this technique
