HOBBIES : EATING, SLEEPING, SURFING INTERNET AND PLAYING WITH MY CATS



I am a friendly, kind and caring person. I'm also a person who likes to ask if I do not understand anything in my study. There are lots of questions that are always in my mind.  I will share with you about my history when I went to school from Form 1 to Form 5. I went to school at SMK Tun Aminah from Form 1 until April Form 4. Then, I moved to MRSM Muar when I was in Form 4.  I was a librarian when I was Form 2 and I hold the position until Fom 4. When I was Form 4, I got a position to be AJK Form 4. Then, when I went to MRSM Muar, I was holding BADAR secretary from September Form 4 until September Form 5.

TOPIC 6: TAKING LECTURE NOTE


Note taking strategies




This activity shows that I have a little bit problems with taking lecture notes. Tips to make a lecture note is that you need to make a beautiful note. So, it will draw your attention to review the note. In addition, you should make a note that simple, compact and easy to understand so that you can easily reference the note again. 



Note taking exercise using the Cornell Method






Based on the video from i-Learn above, I need to take notes using Cornell Method.




This is the one of the methods in writing a note. This method is easy and concise. When we want to review this note, we just have to read the summary for quick reference.

TOPIC 5: MEMORY, LEARNING AND IMPROVING CONCENTRATION


Memory strategies




I have bad memory strategies. Sometimes, after the exam, I forgot what I read before the exam. I also always know the answers to the questions in the exam but it is hard to make sentences for the answer. I'm confused about some of the related questions.


Tips for a good memory strategies:

  • Space practice- taking breaks between learning sessions
  • Break reading material down for some period of time- do not read books at last minute
  • Rehearsal- repeat the informations many times


Organizational strategies



In this activity, I got 11 marks. This activity tests the mind to remember informations in a short time. We can organize the informations to remember it very well.



Concentration strategies



This activity tests our concentrate levels. I got 9 marks and it's good. The tips to get a good concentration is that we must always focus on doing something so we can give the best in the job.


Concentration chart




This concentration chart help me to make strategies in solving my problems that caused me to not focus in class. So now, I know how to deal with the problems I'm having to stay focus in class.

From this figure, I read and use SQ3R as comprehension strategy. This strategy helps students to read and think like an effective reader.

Review (summary):
  • There are four main types of political systems which is monarchy, authoritarianism, totalitarianism and democracy. Nation-states began to develop in Europe between twelfth and fifteenth century. The European Union (of which the United Kingdom, Spain, Sweden and the Netherlands are all members) has received media attention as a form of governmental cooperation across national boundaries through monarchy system. In totalitarianism system, the war on terrorism began in aftermath of September 11 terrorists attacks on United States. In democracy system, the U.S Constitution requires that each state have two senators and a minimum of one member in the House of Representative.

This is my schedule from 6/8/18 until 12/8/18. When I have a schedule like this every week, my time will be more manageable and I will not waste time with sleep and eating because I like to eat and sleep๐Ÿ˜†

This is all my assignment I need to prepare before 9/8/18. UED 102 e-portfolio is an individual assignment, so I am more focused on this assignment. Besides, this assignment also uses blog, so I need to constantly update my blog every day. Another assignments are group assignment, so we will gather to complete the assignment.

This is the prioritized to-do list that I've made. The important tasks such as assignments, I place it on high priority list. The tasks that not very important, I place it on medium priority list. The tasks that can be done at leisure, I place it on the low priority list.
